Through frigid temperatures, a fresh snow storm paired with a fog so thick it masks the Northern Wisconsin skyline, a Zen Sanctuary is born. This contemporary design captures the spectacular views of Mount St. Helen. Sitting high above the valley, the 400 sq. Ft. Ohana House stands. Tiny House Nation on FYI, Network filmed the entire process. Sunspace by Leisure Rooms with A View participated in the episode in Aloha, Oregon, set to air May 14th.
The Experience
Larry Miller and his crew of Sunspace by Leisure Rooms with A View, traveled from Northern Wisconsin on a 4-hour flight to the worksite at Aloha, Oregon. The Northern Wisconsin weather conditions were often harsh and unforgiving. Working by the light of headlights, the crew were resourceful, and found ways around blowing snow and early dusk. Despite the tough working conditions, Larry spoke of Aloha, Oregon’s beauty “what made it worth it was the view was absolutely beautiful! We even saw horses roaming the landscape during the build”.
Sunspace Vertical 4 – Track Entry Door
The crew of Sunspace by Leisure Rooms with A View installed our Sunspace Vertical 4 Track Entry Door in the Ohana House. Pre-squared for quality installation with 45 degree corners to prevent any water leaks. The Double gasket system provides a water tight and air tight finish, making it durable in all weather conditions. To prevent sagging, Sunspace has equipped its doors with 4 stainless steel hinges instead of 3, which also ensures ease of use and durability. Custom sizes and colors are available.
